Mission
Our mission is to develop, pioneer, and test the methods and tools that will allow Earth observation technology to enable the widespread adoption of ecosystem accounting. Through partnership, research, and practical application we will advance the science of Earth observation and practice of ecosystem accounting.

The Ecosystem Services work stream is working to advance ecosystem service identification, measurement and monitoring through the application of Earth observation.
Implementation & Capacity Building
The Implementation and Capacity Building work stream will lead the capacity building, pilot testing and implementation of ecosystem accounting at the subnational and national scale.
Earth Observations for the Benefit of Humankind
The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is an intergovernmental organization working to improve the availability, access and use of Earth observations for the benefit of society. GEO works to actively improve and coordinate global EO systems and promote broad, open data sharing.
